THE PROCESS
In-Mold Labeling (IML) is an innovative Injection Molding process where a preprinted label is placed directly into a tool (mold) prior to injecting the plastic. The plastic packaging label then becomes a functional, integral component of the final product in one manufacturing step.

DURABLE AND SUSTAINABLE
The CMG Plastics’ In-Mold Labeling and Decorating process produces injection molded parts with superior wear and scratch resistance, especially compared to traditional pad-printed labels. Additionally, the high-quality final product can be fully recycled as the package and label consist of the same plastic material and do not have to be separated.
ECONOMICAL OFFSET PRINTING
CMG Plastics’ Decorating capabilities also include high-speed dry offset printing of a wide range of round products such as cups and containers in up to eight colors and at extremely high speeds as a cost-effective secondary decorating process.
